This structure was selected by the Victorian Outlet Mall Developers to demonstrate the rehabilitation potential that is typical of many historic structures within the outlet mall redevelopment district.
This building composition is located directly across from Wheeling’s Wesbanco Arena, a venue that attracts many people to partake of the popular attractions at the arena and near by waterfront.
Constructed in 1894, the building housed a wholesale grocery business and was owned by A.C. Egerter who served as mayor of Wheeling. The project involved the cooperation of The Community Development Block Grant program and The Wheeling National Heritage Area Corporation as well as private investment.
This addition for the First Baptist Church of Sistersville, in West Virginia, involved fitting classroom and fellowship spaces in a new addition as well as the reconfiguration of the existing Church to meet the needs of the growing congregation.
